MATERIALS:

F5/3.75mm - hook
3-ply yarn, ( used white)
1 - 2" plastic ring
1 - 1" pre-made bow
tacky glue

Finished Size: 8 1/2" long

Gauge: 4 rows = 1"

Stitches: hdc

INSTRUCTIONS:

Join yarn in plastic ring 

Rnd 1) chain 1, sc around ring total of 40 times joining in chain 1: 40 sc.

Row 2) Chain 2, hdc in first 8 sc, turn: 8 sc.

Row 3) Chain 2, hdc in same stitch, ( counts as first hdc), * 2 hdc in next st; repeat from * a crossed, turn: 16 sc.

Row 4) Chain 2, hdc in first hdc, * hdc in next hdc, repeat from a crossed, turn: 16 hdc.

Row 5) Chain 2, hdc in first st, 2 hdc in next st, * hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st; repeat from * a crossed, turn: 24 hdc.

Row 6) Chain 2, hdc in first hdc, * hdc in next hdc, repeat from a crossed, turn: 24 hdc.

Row 7) slip stitch in first 8 hdc, hdc in next 8 stitches, turn:8 hdc.

Row 8) chain 2, hdc in first st, 2 hdc in next st, * hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat from * across, turn: 12 hdc.

Row 9 ) chain 2, hdc in first st, 2 hdc in next st, * hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat from * across, turn: 18 hdc.

Row 10) chain 3, skip first sc, hdc in next st, * chain 1, skip next stitch, hdc in next stitch; repeat from * across, turn: 9 chain spaces

Row 11) Chain 4,( counts as first hdc, chain 2),  hdc in hdc stitch, * chain 2, hdc in next hdc st; repeat from * across turn: 9 chain spaces

Row 12 - 13) Chain 5, (counts as first dc, chain 3), hdc in next hdc st, * chain 3, hdc in next hdc st; repeat from * across, turn: 9 chain spaces

Row 14 - 15)  Chain 6 (counts as first dc, chain 4), hdc in next hdc st, * chain 4, hdc in next hdc st; repeat from * across, turn: 9 chain spaces

Row 16 - 17) Chain 7, (counts as first dc, chain 5), hdc in next hdc st, * chain 5, hdc in next hdc st; repeat from * across, turn: 9 chain spaces

End weaving in all ends.

Finishing: tack bow to neck with tacky glue let dry.
