Crocheted Home Fashion. Table Center measures approximately 20" across.

MATERIALS:

RED HEART® “Holiday”, Art. E715 (4.5 ounce solid and 4 ounce marl skeins): 11/2 Ounces each No. 3000 White w/Silver CA, No. 3002 Green w/Silver CB, and No. 3001 Red w/Silver CC.

Crochet Hook: 5mm [US Size H-8].
Yarn needle to weave in ends.

GAUGE: Motif measures 5" across. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: AFTER THE FIRST (CENTER) MOTIF, ALL OTHERS ARE JOINED WHILE WORKING RND 4. WORK MOTIFS IN SEQUENCE FOLLOWING DIAGRAM FOR PLACEMENT.

First (Center) Motif A: With CC, ch 4; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 12 sc in ring; join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, [yo and draw up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps] 3 times all in first sc, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook – beg cluster made; ch 5, skip next sc; * [yo and draw up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps] 4 times all in next sc, yo and draw through all 5 lps on hook – cluster made; ch 5, skip next sc; rep from * around; join to top of beg cluster – 6 clusters. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Attach CB in any ch-5 lp; (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) all in ch-5 lp, ch 1, * (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) all in next lp, ch 1; rep from * around; join to top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Attach CA in any ch-1 sp; ch 1, * sc in ch-1 sp, ch 3, (sc, ch 3, sc) all in ch-3 sp, ch 3; rep from * around; join to first sc. Fasten off.

First Motif B: Work Rnds 1 and 2 with CA. Work Rnd 3 with CC. Rnd 4-Join on one side: Attach CB in any ch-1 sp; ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 3; sc in ch-3 sp, ch 1, with wrong sides held together, sc in corresponding ch-3 sp on Motif A, ch 1, sc in same ch-3 sp on Motif B – corner joined; ch 1, sc in next ch-3 sp on Motif A, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp on Motif B, ch 1, sc in next ch-3 sp on Motif A, ch 1 – side joined; join next corner as before, ch 3; complete rnd same as for Motif A Rnd 4 from * to end.

2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Motifs B: Work Rnds 1-3 same as for First Motif B. Rnd 4-Join on 2 sides: Attach CB in any ch-1 sp; ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 3, join corner to Motif A, join side to Motif A; sc in ch-3 sp, ch 1, sc in sc of previous joining, ch 1, sc in same ch-3 sp on Motif B – joined corner made; join next side and next corner to last Motif B, ch 3; complete as before.

6th Motif B: Work Rnds 1-3 same as for First Motif B. Rnd 4-Join on 3 sides: Attach CB in any ch-1 sp; ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 3, join corner and first side to first Motif B, work joined corner, join next side to Motif A, work joined corner, join next side to fifth Motif B, ch 3; complete as before.

2nd-7th Motif A: Work in color sequence same as for First Motif A, joining on 2 or more sides as indicated.

First-6th Motif C: Work Rnds 1 and 2 with CB. Work Rnd 3 with CA. Work Rnd 4 with CC joining on 1 or more sides as indicated.
