I Love to Craft > Clay Pot Crafts

Clay Pot Angel

Materials:

2" clay pot
white paint
1-1" wooden ball
hot glue gun
spanish moss or curly doll hair
ribbon or papertwist
black marker
white thread
white craft glue

Method:

1. Paint the clay pot with white paint and let dry. When dry, paint another coat so the clay pot gets painted evenly. Again, let dry.
2. Place the dry clay pot inverted and hot glue the wooden ball to the flat bottom (which is now the top since the clay pot is inverted) to make the Angel's head.
3. Using white craft glue on top of wooden ball, glue moss or curly doll hair on it for making the Angel's hair.
4. Paint a face on the head using black marker pen.
5. Tie white papertwist or ribbon into a bow and hot glue to back of pot to make wings.

Tip: To add more details, you can first paint the wooden ball in flesh color and use acrylic paints to make the eyes, lips etc. and them glue it to the pot.
